Youth Group Tomorrow & Service Projects

We're a go for Youth Group tomorrow evening...both High School and Middle School!  Please remember to check the calendar at the bottom of this site--we've added a number of events on upcoming Saturdays.  Let us know if you're willing and able to help out.  Even better, if you'd like to organize a service project and test out your leadership skills--we'd love the help!

Thank you for all the help!  Our CCC youth room looks amazing...we're really looking forward to meeting there soon.  We'll be putting a few more finishing touches together over the next few wks.  I hope you all had as much fun completing the project as we did.

Fall & School are Here

Ice Cream & Philippians Ch 1

Nick McDonald and I are very happy to announce the first Fall CCC Youth Group mtg!  We're planning to meet at our regular time and place...this Sunday 6:30-8:00 at the church.  We have a "meet the new Youth Leader event planned" and a fun walk to Kimball's Farm Ice Cream in store for you.  What are your goals/plans for the new school year?  We'll be talking about how your plans may (or may not) relate to what Paul talks about in Philippians Ch 1...be there!  Please plan to bring a few dollars cash with you for Ice Cream & we'll be all set.

Summer Movie Night - 10 Aug

Movie Night is a go this Friday the 10th of Aug.  We'll meet at the Church from 7pm to about 10pm...please feel free to come and/or leave when you want.  Movie will start promptly at 7:15pm and will be followed by a lesson in James.  We'll meet in our Youth Room downstairs at the church and project on to the wall.  As always, we'll have snacks & drinks...please feel free to bring your favorite movie snack along.

Movie Night

Sunday Youth Group & Euro 2012 Championship

Heather, Ethan, and I are looking forward to hosting Youth Group at our house this Sunday 2:30-6:30.  Please RSVP if you haven't already and let us know if you'll be bringing a side dish.  We'll have plenty of hotdogs, beans, drinks and the like.  The Euro International Soccer Championship game between Spain & Italy starts at 2:45!  We'll be outside grilling and playing wiffleball around 5pm.  Our next lesson in the book of James will be at 6pm.

Youth Group is on & our next event

We're a go for Youth Group this Sunday--normal time and place.  Hope to see you tomorrow as we continue in the book of James.  Have you memorized John 3:36 yet?

Also, Heather Ethan and I are planning to host Youth Group at our house next Sunday the 1st of July.  More details to follow, but we're combining it with the Euro 2012 Championship Game.  Here's some of the high level details:  Game starts at 2:45, 5:00 we'll start the grill and play some wiffle ball, James lesson around 6:00, and finally parent pick-up at 6:30.

I'll send out more details for NEXT Sunday the 1st of July soon...

Father's Day

Father's Day weekend is upon us--yes I said weekend:)  Please spend some time reflecting on what your relationship with your father is and what it should be.  Love your dad through action and back it up with words.  While we won't be meeting this Sunday for youth group please remember that we also have a Heavenly Father who made us, loves us, gave His Son for us, continues to restore us, forgives us, and will one day come for us to take us home.

You have an extra wk to work on your memory verses:  Psalm 16:1-2, John 3:36 and James 2:9-10.  DO IT!!!!  If you can't remember the process that John Piper uses--let me know and I'll remind you.  It has been working for me:)

YG is Back

Youth Group is back in session this Sunday!  Normal time and place.  Don't miss it as we'll be starting a new summer series in the book of James.  Don't be fooled by this little book--it has a huge impact that will bring us all over the Bible.  Looking forward to seeing you all there.
